Check Yahoo news. The coin appears to be in mint state condition!

Good point, lincolnSence. Very Happy That reminds me, my 15 yr old daughter thinks I am crazy for collecting coins. Everytime I show her one of mine, a pic of a coin from here or ebay, or a dealer, she just shakes her head. Rolling Eyes I have been showing her some nice proof Indian cents that are relatively inexpensive and her comment always is: "Is it a penny? I will give him a penny for it" And I say, "Please call him and tell him that" I think that would be the funniest thing ever to hear that conversation! Laughing

I too would like to be a fly on the wall when that conversation happens Garry. I'm sure it would be funny. My daughter who is 18 now has had to deal with me and my pennies for years now, not understanding how I can get so excited over some of these copper beauties. I hear the same thing all the time. "Oh Daddy...it's only a penny!" However, mention that the coin may be worth a few hundred dollars, and the attitude changes somewhat. Amazing!
