Pitting is seen on the obverse die (raised bumps on the coin). Die scratches are seen under Lincoln’s nose. Two long die scratches are seen under the R and U of TRUST

Pitting is seen on the reverse die. A die crack is seen from the rim into the O of ONE. Another die crack is seen in the field and into the left leg of the N in ONE.

Light extra thickness can be detected on the date. The serif on the arm of the 4 digit has notching, but this may only be seen on MS coins.
