Die pitting shows as a result of die wear in the lower coat, mainly in the fold between the shoulder and the chest. E-W die scratches show between the cheek and jaw in front of the ear.
Reverse
A heavy die gouge shows as a bulb on the left side of the second U of PLURIBUS. A heavy die scratch runs NW-SE in the upper left protected area of the T of CENT. A heavy die scratch shows just below the center cross-bar of the E of CENT. Reverse is LMDS.

This variety shows a rather strong doubled eyelid to the north. Both the upper and lower eyelids are doubled.
