MDS markers
Obverse
Heavy N-S die scratches show throughout the date. Whispy die scratches show under the shoulder at the rim. A die gouge shows at the rim just above the L of LIBERTY. Other die scratches run in various directions through LIBERTY. Of note is one heavier die scratch that runs north from the R of LIBERTY.
Reverse
A number of die scratches show in the latter half of PLURIBUS. Die damage has caused the top of the T of CENT to show curves. E-W die scratches show from the E of ONE and the T of CENT to the upper half of the right wheat. A die scratch runs E-W below AMERICA. A large curved die scratch shows inside the C of CENT. Reverse is MDS.
