Many die scratches throughout the obverse with NW to SE diagonal scratches through Lincoln's portrait and circular scratches through the date on the vest. The obverse is a doubled die identified as 1946D-1DO-002. Obverse is MDS.

Circular and horizontal scratches throughout the reverse, strongest in STATES; gouge in field through the right wheat stalk
