EDS markers
Obverse
A die gouge at the tip of the 9 in the date. Die gouges on the lower lapel. A die scratch runs SW from the back of the head to the T in Liberty. A die scratch running east from the nose.
Reverse
No die break from the right wheat ear to the rim. A die gouge can be found between the D and S in United States. A die scratch in the top left corner of the T in CENT.
MDS markers
Obverse
Die dot above Y in LIBERTY. NE die scratch through T in LIBERTY. Small die crack from lower E in LIBERTY. Die dots above IB in LIBERTY. Light NW die scratches through 19 in date. Reverse is MDS.
Reverse
Curved die gouge through UM in UNUM. NW die scratches through NE in ONE and ENT in CENT. Die scratches through AT in STATES and ICA in AMERICA. Concentric die scratches through O in ONE and C in CENT.
LDS markers
Obverse
A die crack runs along the right side of the E in Liberty. Die damage can be seen in the field to the north of the last 5 in the date.
Reverse
Die scrapes can be seen around the right wheat tip, as well as the left wheat tip. A die crack runs from the rim up into the lower right wheat ear. A die crack can be seen in the grains of the left wheat ear.
