An elongated die crack can be seen to the west of the ear lobe.
Reverse
Old NW-SE die scratches can be seen in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th memorial bays. The specimen examined had minor to moderate strike doubling on almost the entire reverse. Reverse is LDS.

Very strong and well struck portions of the secondary mintmark can be seen outside the vertical bar and inside the primary mintmark.
