A small die gouge near the rim, southeast of the date. A small die gouge in the field above the B of LIBERTY. A die scratch just below the front hair line.
Reverse
A die gouge on top of the R in AMERICA. A stronger die flow line above the E of AMERICA. A die gouge to the left side of the first A of AMERICA. A die scratch between the upper T and E of STATES. Reverse is MDS.

Significant doubling of the eyelid to the east is seen on this variety. NOTE: After careful re-examination, it is this attributers opinion that this may not be a doubled eye at all, but rather a well placed die gouge. For now, we will leave this posted here for informational and educational purposes.
