A shadow ripple shows in front of the face. A small die gouge in the field above the 4 of the date. Light NE-SW die scratches through the TRY of LIBERTY. Obverse is MDS.
Reverse
A die scratch from the E of UNITED to the left cornice. E-W die scratches throughout all the memorial bays. The example photographed had feeder finger damage to the top of the die.

Similar to many others for the date, this variety shows extra columns in memorial bays 10 and 11. NOTE: This die has been abraded which may have obscured additional extra columns in some of the other bays.
