Thin die scratches run NW-SE under the chin and around the throat. Small die gouges show on top of the E and R of LIBERTY. Obverse is MDS.
Reverse
A die scratch runs between columns 8 and 9 in the upper memorial. Die scratches run E-W near the rim under the CE of CENT. A heavy die gouge shows on the left side of the F of OF.
