Obverse
A light die scratch runs southwest from the 2 of the date. A series of light NW-SE die scratches above RTY of LIBERTY into the back of the neck and coat. A horizontal die crack on the base of the nose. A die crack follows the eye brow, and also travels north to the hair line. Some thickening of the hair and beard shows on the specimen examined.
Reverse
A light die crack runs north onto column 3 from the left planter. A series of light die scratches show next to and under the lower left memorial base. Reverse is MDS.

A nice spread with notches can be seen on the top northwest corners of IBERTY of LIBERTY. In addition, some thickening of the features on the hair, beard and ear is also noticeable.
