Pocket Change...
This year's cents are rather void of doubled dies, but the mint mark varieties should prove interesting. obverse - A recently re-discovered mint mark variety for this year turns out to be the first over mint mark variety in the Lincoln cent series. Other mint mark varieties tend to be rather minor and shallow in number reverse - Nothing to report for the reverse of this year's cents, so a general look at the reverse on these coins especially in the typical doubled die areas is worth the effort, but don't expect to find anything.

the proof...
Once again, proof cents are rare this year. A very small mintage and no known varieties make them rather boring for variety searching, but very nice, valuable coins for any collector obverse - As with the past couple of years, this year's proof cents are matte proof. A chance exists that one could have slipped as a business strike, so watch for the sharp strike and slightly mottled appearance in the fields. reverse - same as for the obverse.
