Very heavy NW-SE die scratches run through the date. NE die scratches on lapel. SSW die scratches through RTY in LIBERTY. NE die scratches through GOD. Generally N-S die scratches show in WE TRUST. Reverse is MDS.
Reverse
E/W die scratches throughout area above roof. E/W die scratches from column 12 through A in AMERICA. E/W die scratches under baseand through CENT. E/W die scratch under left base. NE die scratches from rim through bays 1 and 2.
MDS markers
Obverse
Very heavy NW-SE die scratches run through the date. Generally N-S die scratches show in the motto. A short and light die crack shows in VDB on the shoulder.
Reverse
A very old NW-SE die scratch shows in CENT. Reverse is LDS.
