Very heavy NW-SE die scratches run through the date. NE die scratches on lapel. SSW die scratches through RTY in LIBERTY. NE die scratches through GOD. Generally N-S die scratches show in WE TRUST. Reverse is MDS.
Reverse
E/W die scratches throughout area above roof. E/W die scratches from column 12 through A in AMERICA. E/W die scratches under baseand through CENT. E/W die scratch under left base. NE die scratches from rim through bays 1 and 2.
MDS markers
Obverse
Very heavy NW-SE die scratches run through the date. NE die scratch from tip of Y in LIBERTY. NNE die scratch from top of hair to E in WE. A short and light die crack shows in VDB on the shoulder. Reverse is LDS.
Reverse
A small die break shows in C of CENT. Die break right cornice. Die breaks on columns 11 and 12. ESE die scratches through ONE. ESE die scratched through E PLURIBUS UNUM.

Large Date: A very heavy and very well define bottom left two thirds of a secondary mintmark spread to the northeast shows above and inside the primary mintmark on this variety.
