Didn't know were to post this question ...
Is it permissible to use the (coppercoins.com', die number) 2006P-1DO-008, with page link to this die number (information) ... on other (personnel) web pages or like say ... E-Bay?
Wasn't sure and I know it's going to come up ... over and over again, as coppercoins.com will certainly get more popular (to the general public) and with a third party grading service (ANACS) now using it to attribute coins.
Thought I'd ask befor I have to change alot of things in the future.

I use those type links to Coppercoins.com listings on my eBay auctions. This is such a great site that everyone should know about it!

Taken in part, from (my) web page; in question:
Note: (was added)

A very good site on the "www." (web) to get information on all copper coin/s (cent/s) go to: Coppercoins.com.
Forum/s located here: Coppercoins.com/forums to register for the site, which is free, go here: Register.
NOTE: Image and Die Number, usage (here) from: Coppercoins.com: Please Read
_____________________________________________________
Was wandering if (in this case) it is ok (to use:die number and information 'page') as in example below:
Item number: 60 (from my web page)
1963 (Raw) (Gem PR-66+RD) Dbl Die Rev (CONECA 6-R-II-C+VI / WDDR-009 / CDDR-001) 1963P-1DO-005P
After reading: Letter to the public
I'm still a bit confussed on this:
| Quote: |
We have instituted a single, straight across the board policy for anyone wishing to use our images. We will be happy to share this policy with anyone wishing to use our images for their personal reasons, and afford everyone an equal chance to share in our technology provided they follow our rules in using our property. This policy includes, but is not limited to:
* Using our images in their original form, without resizing or editing them.
* Linking to our images only from our server, not copying them to a different server.
* Providing a link to our site with each image or group of images used.
* Using only the coppercoins.com listing system in conjunction with our images.
* Not charging, in any form, for access to our images.
* Not printing or redistributing our images in any form.
* Providing a disclaimer freeing coppercoins.com of any liability arising from selling items using stock photos. |
In the above ... you just mentioned: E-Bay ... I'm more concerened (at this point) about my 'personnel' web page, perhaps, it maybe a good idea, to put up an example of what is and is not exceptable, not only for me but for the many, other's that may, read this.
After, re-reading the policy, I believe that I'm good to go, just wanted to be sure.
Happy hunting all.

Only thing I see is that if you are using the photos provided by this site, they are to be used ONLY in conjunction with the listing system provided on the site. Reason for this is that I cannot say for certain that the die numbers from other systems you are using actually reflect what's in the picture...but I know the pictures you are using from the site are definitely the die we list them as.
One of the initial reasons for inventing a new listing system was to get away from having to be certain my photos matched CONECA's numbers (or anyone else's). If I had an altogether new die numbering system for the varieties reported, I could be absolutely certain those die numbers matched the coins listed.
Another reason for the rule regarding using our system exclusively when using our photos is that our photos cost money to house on the internet, and the other systems don't pay to have those photos online...consequently I don't think they should be getting free advertising from the use of our photos.

were you list the cross references as: "FS-027.4" & "1-R-V"
