EDS markers
Obverse
A heavy die dot shows in the front area of the hair. Another smaller die dot shows on the front of the forehead. Die scratches run NE-SW behind the head, and a heavy die scratch runs nearly due west from the back of the head.
Reverse
E-W die scratches, possible the remnants of concentric die scratches are visible in AMERICA. Reverse is MDS.
MDS markers
Obverse
NE/SW die scratches are present on most of obverse. The heavy die dot on the hair still shows. It is accompanied by a die crack from the top of the head under WE and runs generally south. A heavy die scratch/crack connects the back of the shoulder to the rim. Reverse is EDS.
Reverse
Reverse die changed. Die dot between NE in ONE. ENE die scratch under AT in STATES. Light ENE die scratches through AM in AMERICA.
