EDS markers
Obverse
A myriad of cross-hatching die scratches show all over the obverse. Heavy die dents (damage) shows underneath the N of IN. Die damage chipped out the entire upper portion of the N of IN.
Reverse
Very heavy and numerous NW-SE die scratches show all over the reverse. The polishing was heavy enough to affect the relief of the design in many areas.

A minor pair of split serifs show on this variety. It is possible that this variety may be too minor to detect in later die states without the use of markers.
