Obverse
Numerous die scratches all over the obverse. More prevalent scratches run SW-NE through ERTY of LIBERTY. E/W die scratch above T in LIBERTY. Small die break in lower R in LIBERTY. Die scratches show between the folds of the jacket and vest. E/W die scratches from lower E in WE. Die gouge from middle S in TRUST. Reverse is MDS
Reverse
Numerous NW-SE die scratches throughout the reverse. A small die break is seen on D in UNITED and T in CENT. A large die blob shows on the lower left memorial base. Evidence of a die clash shows in the 8th memorial bay.

Large Date: Tripled Die shows 3 tails on the 9 of the date with a possible 4th 9 on the top left of the digit. A light spread east on LIBERTY and a light division line is noticeable on the 0 of the date. This variety is considered scarce... as not many specimens have been reported.
