Pocket Change...
Do not expect a high yield of doubled dies to come from business strike coins for this year. Philadelphia minted doubled dies far outnumber Denver minted doubled dies for this year across the board, but most are minor. Obverse - The most prevelant types of doubling found on 1962P and D minted obverses will be doubled eyelids, bar-L coins, and very minor date separation. They are approximately equal in number between the two mints. Reverse - There are quite a number of reverse doubled dies for this year, but over half of them are on proof coins. Searching business strike coins may yield some decent doubled dies, mainly class 2, but don't expect much.

the proof...
Proof cents are riddled with doubled dies this year. Of all the years of the Lincoln cent, 1962 sports one of the highest numbers of doubled dies on proof coins. Obverse Of special note is a huge number of obverses with nice doubling in the date. There are so many different ones known, it was once thought that this doubling was the result of a doubled master die. This has since been disproven.
