Hello,
Searching a roll of 1969-D this weekend and found some stuff that I'm not sure on. I've researched all I can but came up with nothing. It's in the 1st and 2nd bays of the memorial. First, I'm thinking but not jumping to an extra partial column in the bays. The first bay is vertical, but the 2nd is slanted and this pulls me away from thinking extra column. I did research all extra columns on the website and it does appear it's possible. Possibly a die clash. I reviewed an overlay of a die clash and it does match up, unless it was somehow offset. The roll had 4 of these in it. All the same, same die scratches and die chip on the obverse. Wondering if this is something you've have seen or something new. I reviewed all variety sites (except Coneca, for some reason I'm unable to see memorial cents there) and nothing. Is a sort of blistering possible in 95% copper cent?
