Mint mark types · San Francisco (S)

S-MMT17 (Narrow-S)

[2000-2007]

The narrowest to height proportioned San Francisco mint mark.

The only mint mark style used for proof cents from 2000 through 2007, this mint mark looks like it is on a weight loss program. Its width is considerably less than its height in proportion making it look a bit odd.
