The latest (and likely last) proof mint mark type for Lincoln cents is marked by the fact that it is also the only San Francisco mint mark type with squared serifs. In use since 2008, this type continues to be the mint mark favored by mint engravers to this day. Now in use for a continuous 18 years, this is the mint mark for San Francisco Lincoln cents with the logest continuous longevity.
