Obverse: Several curving die scratches almost gouges can be seen above GOD, with two being more noticeable: NW of the D and above the G. Another gouge W of IN near rim. Light N-S die scratches throughout the obverse which are easily seen in UST, WE and IN GOD. Another earlier die state stage may show a slightly different light N-S die scratch pattern through IN GOD & TRUST. EDS

Reverse: Two distinctive die scratches on the roof starting above bay 5; die scratches though bay 1 into the field; diagonal die scratch through bays 8 & 9; diagonal die gouge below the first A in AMERICA. EMDS
