Obverse: Concentric die scratches show on the cheek, neck, throat, and collar centered on the collar just behind the bow tie. A die gouge shows inside the lower W of WE.

Reverse: A long and thin die crack shows on column 12 extending into the right base. A short die gouge protrudes NE from the right cornice. As with many cents of this era the reverse details are very mushy, even though the reverse die has modest wear - reverse is MDS.
