Die Notes

A nice doubled die that shows a medium spread on LIBERTY and IN of the motto, with notching on the southeast corners of the letters ERTY. In addition, some notching can be seen on the curls at the back of the neck, the bow tie, and some minor separation on the date.

Obverse: Die scratches in and around the lips, beard and neck.

Reverse: Die scratches between the UNI of UNITED and the 1st memorial column. Die scratches in the last few memorial bays and the right memorial base. Some abrasion shows on the designers initials. Reverse is LDS.
