Obverse: A die break shows on the bow tie. A die gouge protrudes from the coat to the west of the 1 in the date. Short die scratches to the west of the W of WE. Master die doubling shows on the motto.
Reverse: A large die gouge between the lower left wheat grains and the O of OF. Numerous NE-SW die scratches through STATES and AMERICA. Reverse is MDS.
