Obverse: Old, worn die scratches above the Y of LIBERTY. Use mint mark positioning as another marker for this variety. Obverse is MDS.

Reverse: two short parallel die scratches to the west of the lower bar of the L in PLURIBUS. No other markers found on the specimen examined.
