Class 3 - Design Hub Doubling

Class 3 (design hub doubling). This die was hubbed from two different design hubs. CopperCoins lists it under 1970 — Large Date — the design variety named first when collectors describe the coin (for example, “small over large” → Small Date). See the nine classes article for how Class 3 differs from a normal doubled die.
