Obverse: Four light die dots run in a straight line to the northwest of the Y of LIBERTY. Light clash marks show in front of the mouth. Obverse is MDS.
Reverse: Die scratches run SW-NE in the lower right part of the design. An apparent heavier die gouge parallels these die scratches to the right of the T of CENT. A light die scratch stands out in the cornice above and between columns 3 and 4. Light E-W die scratches show throughout the upper third of the design.
