Die Notes

A very nice spread shows in the upper half of the design, pivoted CCW from K-5. Clear separation shows in the right half of the motto and in the right wheat stalk. A die break in the right wheat stalk is the major marker for this die.

Obverse: A die crack runs E-W through the upper hair. Anothr die crack runs above the initials on the shoulder. The date and mintmark are shown for mintmark position. Obverse is MDS.

Reverse: Three heavy die scratches run N-S connecting the N of UNITED to the C of CENT.
