Obverse: A die scratch runs NW from the center of the vertical bar of the mintmark. A die crach runs across the head from the hair through the forehead. A die scratch shows under WE. A heavy die gouge runs SE from the rim just beneath the L of LIBERTY.

Reverse: E-W die scratches show throughout the reverse. A die dot shows to the left of the right wheat stem. Reverse is LMDS.
