A doubled eyelid can be seen north of the primary, additionally there is also minor class II doubling on the outside of the crossbar serifs of the two 4s in the date.

Obverse: Vertical SW-NE die gouges can be seen below the chin, in front of the hair and behind Lincoln's hair; haphazard die scratches are seen in front of the nose; a die scratch starts at the tip of the first 4 and travels SW below the 9.

Reverse: Numerious die scratches can be seen through UNITED STATES.
