Die Notes

Ball serif mintmark. An extra top half of a secondary mintmark shows spread half the distance of a mintmark to the south. With die progression, the part extending to the south of the primary mintmark disappears.

Obverse: North to south die scratches dominate the obverse. A large die gouge runs north from the rim under the L in LIBERTY. A light doubled eyelid shows very closely spread from the primary eyelid.
