Obverse: Many die scratches throughout the obverse with NW to SE diagonal scratches through Lincoln's portrait and circular scratches through the date on the vest.

Reverse: Circular and horizontal scratches throughout the reverse, strongest in STATES. A die gouge in field through the right wheat stalk. Reverse is a doubled die identified as 1946D-1DR-002. Reverse is MDS.
