Obverse: A heavy concentric doe gouge shows above GOD WE. A similar concentric die gouge shows above the L of LIBERTY.

Reverse: Two small and short die gouges protrude from the top of the left wheat stalk. A die scratch connects the center of the L and U of PLURIBUS. Another die gouge runs NE from the top of the R of PLURIBUS. Light E-W die scratches show near the bottom of the design between the wheat stems.
