This variety shows a weak punching of an S mintmark betwen the 1 and 9 of the date. All major attributors, except CONECA, recognize this as a valid misplaced S mintmark. CONECA delisted this variety from CPG 6.2.

Obverse: NW-SE die scratches run through the date and mintmark. NE-SW die scratches show under LIBERTY. A few die scratches run NW from the back of the head.

Reverse: A heavy die scratch runs fron the left wheat tip to the rim. N-S die scratches show in the middle of the design. Reverse is EDS.
