Obverse: A long die gouge shows in the field just above the head and under GOD. A short die gouge protrudes west from the back of the head behind the ear. Mintmark and date are shown for mintmark positioning. Reverse is LMDS.

Reverse: E-W die scratches show through the upper and lower design areas (but not in the center). A heavy die dot shows to the east of the T of CENT. Two areas of die damage show on the N of CENT. Obverse is MDS.
