Die Notes
A tripled upper serif and doubled lower serif with part of a vertical bar show on this repunched mintmark. Although rather minor in appearance, RPMs for this date are always difficult to find. This RPM was found in a mint set.

Obverse: Very light concentric lathe marks (from the reduction lathe) show through the date and mintmark area.
Reverse: A small but distinct die scratch runs laterally between the T and E of UNITED. A die dot is centered in the upper M of AMERICA. Reverse is EDS.
