Die Notes

This variety shows a nice and widely separated extra lower right curve to the east-southeast. It also shows an extra curve inside the upper mintmark area. One marker for this die is a CUD on the reverse.

Obverse: Die crack from rim below lapel up through shoulder. NNE die scratches in beard. Short N/S die scratches in hair line. Reverse is MDS

Reverse: Concentric die scratches between rim and E PLURIBUS. Die dot under N in UNUM. Feeder finger mark between rim and left wheat. Die crack in left wheat stalk.
