Obverse: A haphazard arrangement of die scratches all around the front of the portrait; a strong NE-SW die scratch stands out in front of the eye; curving die scratches thourgh OD WE TRUS; fine diagonal NW-SE die scratches through the date; fine NE-SW die scratches through LIBERTY.

Reverse: Vertical die scratches east of the left wheat and below EP; haphazard scratches, with NE-SW diagonals more prevalent through NT of CENT
