Obverse: Old heavy die scratches run SW-NE through the date and mintmark. A die crack runs generally W-E through the hair above the ear.

Reverse: A heavy series of concentric die gouges show at the rim above the motto. Other concentric die scratches show in the legend. Reverse is MDS.
