Obverse: A die break and crack runs west from the tail of the 9 in the date. A die break shows on the upper right side of the 1 of the date. Old heavy SW-NE die scratches show throughout the date and mintmark area. Die cracks show on the head in the hair and the forehead.

Reverse: Die scratches run through the area of UNITED and OF Am. A die scratch runs south from the right side of the crossbar on the T in CENT. Reverse is LDS.
