Obverse: Die scratches through date in a random pattern. Longer medium die scratches above date with one intersecting the scratch that connects to the 1 in the date. Random die scratches around LIBERTY with a longer scratch through BE and one above E. One die scratch from T of LIBERTY to the head.
Reverse: Die scratches SE-NW in area around ONE. Die scratch from the memorial base to the O of ONE. N-S die scratches running through bay #1 to upper left cornice. Older N-S die scratches on the reverse and some newer ones above the base to U of UNITED at a different angle. Reverse is MDS.
