Die Notes
A very interesting variety, this one shows a hook curving upward from the left curve of the primary mintmark, and an extra center curve underneath the 9 in the date. This die is coupled with 1942S-1DR-003. Old CPG #018.93

Obverse: Concentric die scratches on the bust. A die crack and chip over the VDB. E/W die scratches in hair. Generally E/W die scratches through WE. Reverse is MDS
Reverse: Concentric die scratches on top of URIB in PLURIBUS. Light N/S die scratches connect C in CENT to N in UNITED. Die crack in left wheat stalk.
