This variety shows a nearly full curve to the south in earlier die states but wears to a very weak curve with a lightly defined lower serif in later die states.

Obverse: Numerous N-S die scratches especially in front of the face, through the 19 of the date and through RTY of LIBERTY.

Reverse: Parallel die scratches under the left horizontal cross bar of the T in CENT. Reverse is MDS.
